Joan Gaskill / Left at SH25 roundabout / Left at Whenuakite, past Hot Water Beach turn-off, bear left at Hahei/Cathedral Cove intersection towards Purangi Rd, then right at T-junction to Ferry Landing.
$6.50 ferry fare (bike & rider) back over to Whitianga then at 'Jandals CafeĢ, beach end of Albert St.
ALTERNATIVE SHORT ROUTE - 38km
After turning left at Whenuakite on SH25, take first left (Purangi Rd) to Cooks Beach and on to Ferry landing.
